Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026. This is a template — review with your legal counsel before going live.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Web AI Secure (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you accept these Terms for that organization.
2. The Service
The Service scans websites you own or are authorized to test for security issues, and provides protection tooling (firewall, malware detection/removal). You may only scan or connect websites you own or have explicit permission to assess. Unauthorized scanning of third-party systems is prohibited.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and API keys, for maintaining backups of your own data, and for reviewing automated remediation before relying on it. Automated malware removal quarantines files reversibly; you should verify results.
4. File Manager & server access
Connected sites include a File Manager that lets you browse, edit, upload, download, rename and delete files on your own server through the Guardian connector. This exists so you can remediate infections, remove malicious files, restore clean copies and harden configuration without needing separate FTP/SSH access — the same capability security vendors such as VirusDie and Wordfence provide. It operates only on sites you own or are authorized to manage, only on cryptographically signed commands from your account, and only within your site’s own directory. Because it is powerful, access requires a re-entered account password (a step-up verification, valid for a short window) and every change is recorded in an audit log (who, what, when, and source IP). You are responsible for changes you or your assigned collaborators make with it; deletions may be irreversible, so verify before you delete. You may disable a site’s connector at any time to remove this access.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is”. Security scanning is best-effort and cannot guarantee detection of every vulnerability or malware. We are not liable for any loss arising from undetected threats, false positives, or remediation actions you approve — including File Manager changes you or your collaborators perform.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to systems, or to violate any law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
7. Plans & payment
Paid plans and their features are described on the Pricing page. Subscriptions may be managed by your account administrator.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance. Contact hello@webaisecure.com with questions.
